Adolescent & Teen Therapy

Help your teen get back on track through teen counseling with strategies created specifically for teens and adolescents.

The teenage years are often challenging for teens and their parents. Teenagers often have a lot on their plate trying to navigate their way through middle school, high school, or college as well as managing social pressuresfamily expectations, and extracurricular activities, just to name a few. They may be feeling sad, anxious, angry, or overwhelmed by what’s been happening and need help sorting out their feelings, finding solutions to their problems, or just feeling better. I will work to address the concerns of your teen or adolescent, while helping the family to grow and heal.

Child & Family Therapy

I can help your child using proven play therapy techniques deal with life’s challenges like anxiety, depression, divorce, bullying, and a variety of other issues children face today.

In my work counseling children near Orlando, FL, I understand sometimes children do not have the words to express their wants, needs, thoughts, and feelings. I understand play is essentially words for kids. Your child will participate in play therapy or sand tray therapy in the work we do. We do this because the therapeutic powers of play offer an opportunity for children to prevent or resolve psychosocial difficulties and achieve optimal growth and development. I will partner with you and your child to help facilitate emotional growth and positive change.

Individual Therapy

Take the first step in individual counseling on the journey to a healthier more balanced you.

Do you struggle to communicate your wants, needs, thoughts and feelings? Do you often feel like your life is spiraling out of control? Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, OCD or some other issue with which you could use guidance, support, new ideas or hope? In my work with individuals I offer a non-judgmental space for you to identify patterns, blocks, and coping skills that are either working or not working in your life. Once these have been identified new tools can be introduced to replace the ones that are not serving you. If you are ready to make positive changes in your life, I would be honored to partner with you in the journey.
