Help your teen, in Orlando, get back on track through teen counseling with strategies created specifically for teens and adolescents.

The teenage years are often challenging for teens and their parents.

Teenagers often have a lot on their plate trying to navigate their way through middle or high school, as well as managing social pressuresfamily expectations, and extracurricular activities, just to name a few. They may be feeling sad, angry, or overwhelmed by what’s been happening and need help sorting out their feelings, finding solutions to their problems, or just feeling better.

I will work to address the concerns of your teen, while helping the family to grow and heal. Teens grow through a variety of changes both physical and psychological during this time in their lives. As they struggle to resolve their psychological development, they need the love, support, and structure provided by their parents and guardians and often can benefit from having the support of a therapist who can offer a safe place to process their feelings without judgment.

My approach to helping teens starts with building a relationship with both the teen and their parents. I feel that it is important to partner with parents to ensure they are part of the process and ensure the teen understand they and their parents are in counseling to get the tools and support needed for healing and happiness. I understand that confidentiality is of the utmost importance to working with teens and provide a safe non-judgmental space for them to work through their issues.

I have chosen to focus on extra training that revolves around working with children, adolescents and teens. I can help with a wide variety of issues, including but not limited to:
